All our handmade shell, pearl, and gem jewelry is either made with sterling silver or gold filled (unless stated otherwise in the description). All shells are found by me in South Florida and all gemstones or pearls are sourced from small businesses. We sell fine and costume jewelry which may include components made of sterling silver, gold-filled, plated brass, or stainless steel. The specific materials used in each piece are listed in the product description. All of our jewelry is lead and nickel-free (unless otherwise stated).

With some of our vintage or pre-owned pieces, we may not know the exact contents of the metals used and will be sure to state this in the product description. Please be cautious and aware of this when ordering pieces that are labeled as vintage or use vintage/repurposed components as they may not be suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin

As Havea Sol grows as a company, we aspire to find and source the highest-quality of materials that we will use for our jewelry. If we find that something is not working to our standard (or our consumers standards) we will find better.

Tarnishing can occur when our gold-filled jewelry comes into repeated contact with chemicals like perfumes, soaps, and hair products. It can also happen when repeatedly exposed to salt or chlorinated water. Our jewelry is water resistant, not water proof (except for sterling silver and gold). Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or replacements for tarnishing. To keep your jewelry looking its best, store it in a dry place and clean it regularly with a soft cloth.
